This fun and spooky game is perfect for kids and you can make it and play it just anytime and anywhere. You have to do just a little assembly before playing this game. You have to make the die and the tokens or you can use the die and tokens from another board game that you already have. You have to print and cut the risk cards around the edges and you have to paste the game board on a cardboard sheet. You can also get the game board laminated to keep it protected longer.
How to Play
Prepare the game and ask the kids to sit around the game card. 3 to 4 kids can easily play this game. The objective of this game is to reach the finish box first. All tokens will be placed at the start or at the haunted house. The players roll the die, count the boxes and move their token according to the number given on the die. If the token land on the box with Risk written on it, they should draw out one risk card and act according to the instruction given on it. The risk cards should be cut around the edges and stalked upside down before starting the game. The player who reaches the finish line first wins.

You can remove the cards with harsher penalties, like the one that asks the players to go back to Start or you can keep it to make the game more challenging. These cards should be shuffled before each game and put upside down so the players will only see what is written on the card when they draw one.
Free Printable Die, Tokens, and Label for Halloween Board Game
Here is another printable sheet for this DIY Halloween board game for kids. This printable sheet has 1 printable die, 5 printable tokens, and one big label that you can paste on the game’s box if you’ll create one. To make the die and tokens, just cut each object around the edges, fold from the dashed lines and adhere the edges together with a glue stick to form a box. If you find it too tedious to make the die and tokens yourself, you can use buttons, beans, coins, and other small objects as tokens and use a die from another board game.
