How to Play Left Right Game

Method 1

One fun game you can play at your party is a gift exchange game. You can ask your guests to bring a small, wrapped gift such as candy or chocolate bars. If you need ideas, you can consult the list I have shared above. When everyone has arrived, gather them in a circle while they hold onto the gift they brought. Then, someone should be chosen to narrate a story. As the story is being read, whenever the narrator says the word “right,” the person holding the gift must pass it to the person sitting on their right, and when the narrator says “left,” they should pass it to the person on their left. At the end of the story, each person keeps the gift they are holding. This is a great way to break the ice and have some fun at your party.

Method 2

If you want to try a different way of playing this game, you could use the classic pass-the-parcel format. To play this version of the game, you need to prepare a package full of goodies or favors and then have the players sit in a circle. To start the game, the narrator reads a story while the package is passed around the circle. When the narrator says “right,” the package should be passed to the person on the right. If the package is already being passed to the right, it should continue in that direction. The same rule applies to “left.” If the package is already being passed to the left, it should continue in that direction. This way, the package is passed around the circle while the story is being told. At the end of the game, the person who is holding the package gets to keep it as a prize.
