Today I am sharing a fun, exciting, cute, adorable, and Free Printable Summer Board Game for Kids. This DIY board game is a treat for kids during summer break and a perfect gift for any kid. The kids can play this fun game at get-togethers, parties, vacations, and just anytime when they are feeling a bit bored. Board games are a perfect way to keep kids busy in some gadget-free activity.

This board game is very easy to print and you can either assemble the 3D tokens and die by using the free printable that I am sharing or can use the die and tokens from any other game. You can also use small buttons, beans, and any other small object as tokens.

This game is comprised of 3 printable sheets. One is the main game sheet, which you can print and paste on cardboard or get laminated, dies and tokens printables, and risk cards sheet. Get ready for some summer fun with this amazing and cute game.

How to Play

Prepare the game and ask the kids to sit around the game card. 3 to 4 kids can easily play this game. The objective of this game is to reach the finish box aka the beach. All tokens will be placed at the start. The players roll the die, count the boxes and move their token according to the number given on the die. If the token land on the box with Risk written on it, they should draw out one risk card and act according to the instruction given on it. The risk cards should be cut around the edges and stalked upside down before starting the game. The player who reaches the finish line first wins.

Free Printable Risk Cards for Summer Board Game for Kids

Here are the 15 printable risk cards that are an important part of this Summer board game for kids. You should print the cards on heavy cardstock and cut each card around the edges. You may remove any card that you don’t like as this game is a flexible DIY game. Personally, I find the ‘Go Back to Start’ risk pretty tough but that makes this game challenging and fun as well.

Free Printable Die and Tokens for Summer Board Game for Kids

Here is the third printable sheet for this Summer board game. The name of the game is written in bold letters so you can paste it on the lid of the game box if you will make one. There are also printables for the 3D die and tokens for this game. Each object will be formed as a small box. Cut each die and token around the edges, fold from the dashed lines and glue the white edges inside to form a small box.
