Mother’s Day is the celebration of motherhood and I am adding more and more free printable Mother’s Day games to help you celebrate your mom. Today I am sharing a funny and hilarious Free Printable Mother’s Day Left Right Story Game. This fun game is enjoyable for small or big groups and people of any age group can play this fun game. I have made two beautiful free printable game sheets for this Mother’s Day game and you can download it in the design that you like.

This game can be played two ways and I have described both methods in detail below.

How to Play Mother’s Day Left Right Game

Method 1

To make your Mother’s Day celebration more entertaining, you can ask your guests to bring a small, wrapped gift such as candy or chocolate bars. Once everyone has arrived, gather them in a circle while they hold onto the gift they brought. Then, someone should be chosen to narrate a story. As the story is being read, whenever the narrator says the word “right,” the person holding the gift must pass it to the person sitting on their right, and when the narrator says “left,” they should pass it to the person on their left. At the end of the story, each person keeps the gift they are holding. This is a fun and exciting way to celebrate Mother’s Day with family and friends!

Method 2

An alternative way to play this game is by using the classic pass-the-parcel format. To play this version of the game, prepare a package filled with goodies or favors and have the players sit in a circle. The game starts with the narrator reading the story while the package is passed around the circle. If the narrator says “right”, the package should be passed to the person on the right. If the package is already being passed to the right, it should continue in that direction. The same rule applies to “left”. The package should be passed to the left and continue in that direction if it is already being passed that way. In this way, the package is passed around the circle while the story is being told. At the end of the game, the person holding the package gets to keep it as a prize.
