On a road trip, the most difficult task is to keep kids busy. I personally don’t prefer giving the kids gadgets during a car trip. I have made some fun games that will help you keep kids busy. On this page, I am sharing two versions of the Free Printable License Plate, Road Trip Game. One is a simple version in which the kids will have to check the state when they spot a car with a license plate from that state and in the other version kids will have to color that state on the map after spotting the car. This is a fun game and kids can play it as a competitive game, they can coordinate with each other in finishing the game and a single kid can also play it. You can modify the game rules according to your need and requirement.

How to Play

Print the license plate game version that you like before your road trip. Ask the kids to spot the cars with number plates from different states and check the name of the state on the game sheet. In the case of playing the coloring game, they should also color that state on the map. The kids can race against each other and also help each other in finishing the game.
