Free Printable Hangman Game Templates

Today I have prepared 7 fun and free printable Hangman Game Templates that you can print for your kids at home and also for your classroom. Hangman is a very popular and classic word game. Two players can play it and it can also be played by teams. I have made the classic hangman and also some other fun hangman images in which the stick man is being eaten by a shark, bitten by a dog, falling from a ladder, falling in a pit, and crushed under the boxes. You can take a printout of these templates by using a color printer and these will be perfectly printed on a black and white printer as well. The hangman game can serve as an excellent car and travel game. You can print as many copies of this game as you may want for your personal use.

How to Play

Print this game in the design of your choice. One person will become the host and think about a word. That person should make the dashes according to the number of the letters in that word. As letters in the word are guessed, write them above the corresponding blank. If a letter not in the word is guessed, trace a body part of the hangman on the image in light grey color and also cross that letter off from the alphabets that are written on the paper. Most frequently, the person is drawn in 6 parts (for 6 letter guesses) in order: head, body, left leg, right leg, left arm, right arm. This is the first free printable template for the hangman game. In this game, the hangman will be made on a gallow in the classic style. I have made a very very light outline for the hangman that the kids can trace.
